A few months ago, Gloria reached out to me to book an engagement session in New York City, where she and her fiance Ben currently live. When I mentioned that engagement sessions come with my wedding packages, she asked if I would ever consider traveling with them to Provence, France, where they will be getting married next year. Couldn’t pass that one up! 😉 I can’t wait for their outdoor celebration next August!

We decided to shoot in two different locations – Central Park and then the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. We decided to meet bright and early for the sake of light and started shooting around 5:30 AM, which meant Central Park was gorgeous and basically deserted (except for a group of people doing yoga with their dogs). I’ve never seen Central Park so empty and fell in love, I need to do more photo sessions at this time of day!

We followed with some photos in Brooklyn at one of my favorite places and spent some time wandering around their gorgeous lush fields and gardens. Such a beautiful venue for weddings – hopefully one day I get to photograph a ceremony there. We fell in love with the oversized huge peonies given to the garden by Japan in all different colors and patterns, they were absolutely stunning. Hope you enjoy!
